 Antartica was never mentioned as a possible destination when planning the trip but people we met along the way said it was a must. The nearer we got the more certain we were that we wanted to go. The only downside being the Drake Passage - some of the roughest seas in the world between Cape Horn and the Antarctic peninsula.

Antarctica is a magical place of ice, mountains, penguins, whales, seals and birds. We were incredibly lucky to have sunny days and good sea conditions in one of the most inhostpitable places on earth. Fantastic. We will let the photos speak for themselves. The only thing missing is the smell of penguin poo. |
