 A whistly stop visit where we drove in from Mexico, left Hopper at the main airport and flew to Caye Caulker for a couple of days to go diving. Arlelis' first dive after certification - throw in the fact that it was deep dive (180ft) and sharks to boot! We survived.

July 3rd - 5th 2006 | Shame
we had to rush - Caye Caulker was a stark contrast to the hustle and
bustle of Mexico. Touristy yes, but not imposing and not crowded.
a very relaxed place with a Caribbean feel. Air conditioned hotel room on the beach, a shower and porcelain facilities - luxuries. |
