No
Entry. We bounced along 500km of bad road in Bolivia to get to Brazil.
At the border there is no customs or immigration its an hour up the
road in tbe nearest town. Here we found out that US citizens
and Dominican Republic citizens need visas. UK
ciitzens can come and go as they please. So, as Arelis had no visa,
back over the 500km bad road we
travelled ..... |

Bs
As, Argentina allowed us to sort out Arelis' Brazilian
visa and having
put Hopper in a container ready to ship back to the US we
thought
we would bounce around Brazil while Hopper was in tansit. A
hire
car from Sau Paulo took us to the Pantanal a huge water logged area
(10x the size of the Everglades) full of wildlife the most noticeable
of which being capybaras, the
worlds largest rodents. |

Iguacu
Falls - very impressive
waterfalls on the Brazillian/ Argentinian border, all photos
for
both sides are here. Great
wildlife - Coatis, Caymens, and lots of birds etc, but most impressive
were the vast variety of butterflies. Near the falls is the
world's largest hydro electric plant too. |

Rio
De
Janerio, and more specifically
Cocacabana was a little tired but JC on the hill, SugarLoaf Mountain
and Ipanema were impressive. We also checked out
some
islands just up the coast. Afraid there are no photos of golden thonged
local machismos. |
