Monteverde:
Rain forests, cloud forests and bumpy roads. A small town in the hills
full of gringos, hotels, and restaurants surrounded by some great
countryside. David our Tican guide showed us the cloud forest by
day and the rain forest by night. Our hotel had a resident sloth
too. |

La
Fortuna/ Arenal Volcano - Saw Arenal in action at night, watched loads
of wildlife from a boat up the Cano Negro, stopped at Iguana Central
and experienced some serious rain. |

July 23rd - 24th 2006 |
Tortugero
- another gringo ville, Ticans taking $10 off each person at every
turn. Saw Turtles laying eggs, rowed in canoes, cooked in the heat.
Kids had great time at the beach.
